The BIGGEST event in top-flight UK match fishing reaches its climax on Sunday July 13, when the country’s best teams lock horns on Peterborough’s River Nene.
At stake will be the glittering Team Champs trophy, often referred to as the FA Cup of match fishing, the £4,000 top prize but more importantly, the accolade of the best team in the land!
The match will also feature the biggest names in the UK match scene, the likes of England stars William Raison, Steve Gardener, Alan Scotthorne, Stu Conroy, Sean Ashby, Des Shipp, Steve Hemingray and Darren Cox all lining up alongside legends including Tommy Pickering and Mark Pollard plus England bosses Mark Downes and Mark Addy.
That’s quite a line up but it won’t cost you a bean to see them in action on the Nene. Spectators are welcome with the match getting underway at 11am, the champions announced at around 6pm.
